Finishing Spring Semester — Aside from a week-in, week-out 100-odd vocab words and translations for my “Greek” and “Hebrews” courses, I’ve got two small-ish “close reading” papers for “Ethics” (worth 25% of my grade each), a term paper for “Mapping India”, and a term paper [...]

Next Semester and the Rest of My Life:
Out of Social Sciences
(for the moment)

So, to recap: I was going to take POLISCI209: Computational Political Economics, but it was cancelled. So I shifted to SOCIOL225: Economic Sociology. Both of these were on the basis that a doctoral program in the social sciences is going to want to see a successful social science course on my transcript, and next semester [...]
