So this site (http://robertcfischer.com) is coming together. I’ve mainly been working on The Indie3 Project recently, but I’m pulling together the links page.
The purpose of this site is to simply be a place to drop interesting ideas that I have which aren’t big enough to make into a paper or book, but which might be useful to record. It’s abundantly clear that EnfranchisedMind readers don’t like my religious/school posts, but there are people out there who do like those posts, and I enjoy writing them. So I’m moving over here.
The site is intentionally simple: the goal is to focus on the content, and keep it readable and accessible without any of the technical fanciness that goes onto The Indie3 Project or EnfranchisedMind. Plus, simplicity is a virtue, so if I’m going to be talking about virtuous things, I should probably start with reflecting them aesthetically.
The first post here with real content is likely to be the sermon I delivered at Prospect United Methodist Church in Yanceyville, NC on June 13th on Naboth’s Vineyard and the idea of Christian inheritance. Unfortunately, Prospect records onto cassette, so I’m waiting on a male-male audio cord to be delivered so that I can get it off Alicia‘s old walkman and onto the internet.
Until then, go check out Ellen Davis on “Speaking of Faith”. I’m the student who loves Ellen Davis and went all fan-boy with a question part the way through the interview. Speaking of Faith tweets as @SOFTweets.
